Easy Dumpling Soup (Trader Joe's)

Equipment

  • 1 Skillet with a lid
  • 1 Small soup pot
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 6 ounce Package of frozen soup dumplings.
  • 2 Cups Broth Chicken, pork, veggie, or beef.
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1 Tbps Chili Crunch
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Green Onion
  • Cilantro Optional, to taste.

Instructions

The Broth

  • In a small soup pot heat oil, then add garlic, green onion, ginger, and chili crunch oil. Sautee until lightly browned and fragrant.
  • Add 2 cups of the broth of your choice. Bring to a boil, then leave to simmer while the dumplings cook.

Dumplings

  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a pan and then place dumplings on top. Be sure the bottom of each dumpling is lightly covered in oil. Cover the dumping ΒΌ of the way with water. Cover with a lid, and cook on medium until all of the water has evaporated.
  • Remove the lid of the pan, and allow to continue cooking until the bottoms of the dumplings are completely browned and crunchy.
  • Add the dumplings to a bowl and cover with as much broth as you desire. Top with cilantro and chili crunch to taste.
