In a small soup pot heat oil, then add garlic, green onion, ginger, and chili crunch oil. Sautee until lightly browned and fragrant.
Add 2 cups of the broth of your choice. Bring to a boil, then leave to simmer while the dumplings cook.
Dumplings
Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a pan and then place dumplings on top. Be sure the bottom of each dumpling is lightly covered in oil. Cover the dumping ΒΌ of the way with water. Cover with a lid, and cook on medium until all of the water has evaporated.
Remove the lid of the pan, and allow to continue cooking until the bottoms of the dumplings are completely browned and crunchy.
Add the dumplings to a bowl and cover with as much broth as you desire. Top with cilantro and chili crunch to taste.
